RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) “We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in handAnd together we’ll spread the news that God is in our landAnd they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our loveThey will know we are Christians by our love”— They’ll Know We are Christians By Peter Scholtes Christ the King and St. Stephen parishes join together to explore the teachings, beliefs and practices of the Catholic Church with inquirers of all denominations and backgrounds. We welcome persons who want to join the Church, wish to learn more about Catholicism or simply desire to explore issues of faith in a small-group setting. Our experience with the RCIA has been very positive. The number of participants has grown each year, and we now have people who come because they have heard this is a “good place to be.” Our parish is enriched each year by new members and by the dedication of their sponsors. Their presence among us is both a sign and a challenge, calling us all to a deeper conversion and appreciation for our Catholic heritage RCIA usually meets Mondays (September – May) at 7 p.m.Read Beth’s Story About Participating in RCIA Parish Contacts: Father Adam Puntel, puntel_a@olctk.org & Scott Kroencke, skroencke@globe-usa.com
