Fr. Ed’s Letter About Reopening
As all of you know, we are not in ordinary times, and so our parish needs to consider carefully what is the best for our community.
I know you have continued to be a vital part of our parish community in various ways: through videos, emails, voice messages, online classes for our school and the newsletter. The closeness of our parish remains as we are all united in Jesus, who holds us close in his arms.
We are busy preparing for your return to our beautiful church building and look forward to welcoming you back. Please be patient with us as we do our best to implement the attached guidelines. Once we reopen for public worship it is possible that we may need to make further changes, so we thank you for your flexibility and understanding.
Our celebration of the liturgy will remain, as always, reverent and meaningful. We are simplifying parts of it in order to minimize any health risks and will monitor and adjust safety protocols as needed. The church will only hold about 100 people comfortably with the required social distancing guidelines. We ask you to be sensitive to this.
Thank you for your prayers and support for our parish and for one another. We especially need each another right now.
God bless you, my dear friends!
