Eucharistic Adoration

As a parish, we our renewing our focus on Eucharistic Adoration. Beginning Friday, September 9, 2022, we will hold Eucharistic Adoration in the Church from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm every Friday. Benediction is held before the Eucharist is placed back in the Tabernacle at about 11:50 am. Eucharistic Adoration is a period of quiet time spent in church in the presence of Jesus. The Eucharist, the focus of our devotion, rests inside the Monstrance on the altar. Learn more here

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops says, “Eucharistic Adoration is an extension of the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which occurs in every Mass: ‘Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.’ Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament flows from the sacrifice of the Mass and serves to deepen our hunger for Communion with Christ and the rest of the Church.”

Be still, and know that I am God.
