Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi! Also called the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, this day is set aside to honor Jesus Christ, truly and substantially present under the appearances of bread and wine in the Eucharist.

We can't wait to spend the weekend with you at Junefest! Festivities kick off tonight at 7:00 PM with our adults only night, and the family fun continues throughout the weekend.

Today is the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary!
This Feast celebrates Mary's visit to her cousin Elizabeth, pregnant with John the Baptist. Upon Mary's arrival, the baby in Elizabeth's womb leaps for joy, recognizing that Mary is carrying Jesus in her own womb. Pope Benedict XVI says, "When she reaches Elizabeth's house, an event takes place that that no artist could ever with the beauty and the intensity with which it took place. The interior light of the Holy Spirit enfolds their persons. And Elizabeth, enlightened from on high, exclaims: 'Blessed are you among women.'"
