Beacons Of Light Update

• Beacons of Light is a multiyear process of pastoral planning under way in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Rooted in prayer, groupings of parishes will come together as one faith community. These new Families of Parishes will be stronger together, focused more on mission than on maintenance. The Archdiocese undertook this process in order to determine how to best array our resources – human, physical and financial – to spread the Gospel far and wide. Fr. Adam Puntel is the pastor of our parish family. The Marianist priests will continue to pastor St. Francis de Sales as long as their order remains at the church. Fr. Eric Roush and Fr. Barry Windholtz are our Parochial Vicars. Fr. Christopher Komoroski will become our Parochial Vicar starting July 1, 2023.
• A planning team called the Pathways Team has formed comprised of members from all of the churches in our family. They are beginning to address short term goals revolving around staff. As we continue in the Beacons of Light process, a transitional name will be chosen for our Family of Parishes. This is a temporary geographical name until we have one unified canonical parish in approximately 5 years.
